Biography
Congresswoman Yvette D. Clarke proudly represents New York's Ninth Congressional District.
In the 115th Congress, she serves on the Energy and Commerce, Small Business, and Ethics committees. Additionally, she is a the founding co-chair of the Congressional Caucus on Smart Cities.
In addition to her committee work, Congresswoman Clarke serves as the At-Large Member of the Congressional Black Caucus; the Chair of the Multicultural Media Caucus; the Co-Chair on Black Women & Girls Caucus, and the Co-Chair of the Congressional Caribbean Caucus.
Congresswoman Clarke currently resides in the neighborhood where she grew up in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn.
